A vintage, 1930s, wooden box with hand-painted abstract, Bauhaus era motif. The box measures 2.2 x 7.5 x 5.4 inches. The color choice of vibrant pinks and purples on a black ground is quite daring, however, it works perfectly. A perfect eye-catching and practical, 20th century design bibelot. It is general very good condition with a small spot of paint peeling on the side of the cover.
