An amazing rural artifact from a 19th or turn of the 20th century stable in Northern Indiana. Beautifully detailed horse head stable sign with flowing main and open mouth with detailed teeth. Mounted on original cast iron plate that was built into stable wall over the doors. Many coats of old chipped paint. Perfect un-restored patina and condition. No Breaks or losses. Weighs approximately 220 pounds. Unmarked, but likely made by J.L. Mott of New York.
