This object extraodinaire is an authentic French butcher's apron. Magnificent piece to display on a wall as sculpture. You can also choose to wear it for an occasion as this object had a utilitarian function and is protective. Today, health standards in France do not allow for their use, and these objects eventually disappeared, recycled for their metal. The apron consists of small aluminum plate, on which is written, ultra LAMEX, France. They are connected by small stainless steel rings, which gives flexibility to the deck. Aluminum is matte and clear, it reflects the light if displayed in or near a window or under a spotlight. The straps are a plastic material in good condition. If you like the rare and unusual, this is a treasure, and quite the conversation piece.
