Shown here is our prototype of this very popular design. This one is sold and has gone to live in Manhattan. But we would be happy to build another one like it in your perfect size. We custom build and finish our furniture one or two at a time in our Portland, Oregon shop and studio. Nothing is imported. All of our furniture is "bespoke" I.E. designed to fit your situation perfectly including size, color, finish, shape, and many other specific details. This is a made to order harvest table with hand carved details. It's an original design that was inspired by one of my favorite books: Essentially French by Josephine Ryan and Claire Richardson. We used reclaimed naturally weathered Oregon barn wood for the top. You can buy the one we have on hand, or you may order one made in any size or color, with or without leaves. Lead time is 4 to 8 weeks depending on our workload. Blanket-wrapped shipping can be arranged - please contact us for shipping prices. The finish is a durable, multi-layered hand-distressed milk paint. The top layer is a nice neutral swedish "dirty white", and underneath is a dove grey and a soft olive. The formerly dry splintery barn wood has been hardened, and the exposed natural wood protected, with deeply penetrating oils which give the table a wearable surface that will not develop rings or stains but will instead look better and better over time as a dining surface. It is not necessary to protect the finish (under normal eating use) with placemats or coasters. Our amazing finishes have been tested in restaurants and are tried and true, leaving no glass rings or stains while looking authentic and buttery, never plastic. This particular table seats 8.
