Item Description
Exceptional console by Michael Taylor for the Baker Far East Collection. Brilliant simplicity and elegance that combine MCM design with Asian grace. Subtle two toned deep stain on rich walnut.
Michael Taylor was one of the most important and published designers of our time beginning in the 1950's when this piece was issued. He is credited with creating the "California Look". Design legend Albert Hadley stated "you can look a picture of a room he designed in 1953, and it still looks wonderful today." Enough said!
