Item Description
A vintage 1960s, biomorphic design, wooden coffee table base. The base actually looks like an elliptical sculpture. The base is 16 inches tall and 31.5 inches wide. In principle, the design idea is quite similar to the Noguchi coffee table produced by Herman Miller. When the glass top is in place, it looks as if it the glass is floating on the base. One could use a glass top similar to a triangular Noguchi glass top or a circular top. Of course, the glass top does not have to be as thick as a Noguci table, it depends on the size of the top.
