An elegant custom made Lawson style sofa with a gently scalloped back. Upholstered in a bisque or light fawn-colored Matelassé fabric. In excellent condition, hardly ever sat in. Comes with a pair of throw pillows in the same fabric and a thick moss fringe trim. Matelassé - A thick yet soft upholstery weight textile in a Jacquard weave as originally done by hand in Marseilles, France. It is created by quilting double cloths in whatever subtle pattern one desires, usually a Renaissance brocade or damask pattern. The resulting surface appears and feels puffy and cushioned.
