Item Description
A set of four, original 1930s Bauhaus era bent metal chairs. The chairs are Swiss versions of the Breuer chair. They are either by the Swiss company, Bigla or Embru and were most likely sold in the Swiss purveyor of Bauhaus design from the 20s, Wohnbedarf. The chairs are period and have their original upholstery. The chromed metal is in good condition. The cushions are still nice and firm. The fabric is a gray wool, similar to original Breuer fabric used on his chairs in the 20s, Eisengarn. The fabric on some of the chairs have some wear points. We have photographed these points. The seat height is19 inches and the total height is 33.5 inches. Shipping is included in the price of chairs.
