Item Description
A vintage child's desk & chair manufactured by atelier Jean Prouve. The chair has an ergonomoic, laminated wood seat and back. The desk's surface is covered with a wood grain formica like material; there is a drawer. There is patina to the paint and chips at the edging of the desk. The desk measurements are: 21.25 x 19.5 x 13.5 inches.
Please note that in the 1950s, the use of formica was quite commonly used by the Prouve atelier as it was then considered to be completely new and very modern industrial material.
