Item Description
A vintage 1960s Italian design lounge chair. The chair is entirely constructed from bamboo and its design is directly inspired by the LC4 lounge by Le Corbusier. Actually, one could say that it is also inspired by Charlotte Perriand as she created a bamboo version in the 1940s.
In keeping with the original Corbusier design, the seat part is seperate from the base and can slide up and down to fit the sitter's needs. At 25 inches wide, this chair is more generously proportioned than the LC4.
The previous owner had a cushion especially made to provide even more comfort.
