Item Description
A pair of dining / side chairs from the Swiss architect and furniture designer, Willy Guhl. The chairs were produced in 1959 by the Swiss company, Dietker & Co in Stein am Rhein. The chair has a seat height of 18, total width of 18.5 and total height of 29.75 inches. The chair is the perfect combination of form and comfort; 1950s architectural lines that are used to form a chair with a trapezoid shaped seat and generous back meant to provide maximum seating comfort for hours on end. The seat and back are in a blue woven wool. There is wear to the upholstery and the foam is soft in place. One could still use them without a problem, however, in the next years; they will have to be reupholstered.
