Item Description
A set of 6, circa 1960s, mid-century modern chairs. The chairs have an unusuual, sultpural design with slightly curved back and a biomorphic seat composed of bent wood elements and supports which oddly enough remind one of arts and crafts design. The seats are 18 inches tall and the overall chair height is 45 inches. The chairs are completely hand-crafted. The wood is a combination of oak for the back and an exotic wood for the seat and supports. The chairs are not signed and from the design, wood composition and overall effect, could be Brazilian in origin.
