Item Description
This beautiful, early chair has an upholstered back and seat. The piece de resistance, however, is the magnificent turning on the arms, legs and stretchers; all executed in a double barley-twist pattern; one spiral very fine, the other quite bold. It features lions heads on the arm terminals, a raised front stretcher and H stretcher. Notice the exquisite coloration and patina on the walnut. This is a special piece, indeed.
