USA, 1950s
Eames Herman Miller arm shell chair in parchment with large (2nd generation) shock mounts, coming to you from Herman Miller country USA. It is an early H base with boot glides. Chair is in good vintage condition, and the shock mounts in excellent original condition. The previous owner had installed a screw at the front right of the seat that was too long and it made a raised bubble there in the fiberglass. The screws have since been replaced with a set of original fine thread Herman Miller screws. The fiberglass shell is in very good condition with no gouges or nicks- it is a very attractive classic shell in a classic neutral parchment with great fibers.
