Item Description
Early 20th century Britain saw a return to classic models and simpler forms in furniture & home design; a Neo-classic revival. Just as Neo-classicism in the late 18th century was a response to the French Rococ style; the early 20th century Neo-classic revival was rejection to the extravagant swirling curves of the Art Nouveau design movement.
We are offering this pair of English Neo-classic revival chairs with simple wooden design elements, caned seat & back. The chairs have a total height of 37.25 inches and seat height of 17 inches. The armchair version has a total width of 26 inches. Both chairs are in very good condition and circa 1910/20. The perfect chairs with clean, architectural lines to add a bit of eclecticism to the modern home.
