Early 20th century plantation chair has original rattan caning and brass fittings.Richly aged wood frame and boot arms-probably Indonesian teak. With arms open, depth is 62".
Made for colonial plantation owners to lay back and raise their legs in order to remove their riding boots more easily. These were the first recliners!
