Listed mid-century metal artist William Bowie (1926-1994) is considered one of the best 20th century metal sculptors.
This high quality signed Windjammer sculpture by William Bowie sports his signature Gold-leafed steel with silver accents and sits on the original walnut base.
Excellent Condition.

Sculpture is 19" X 14" . Gold-leafed steel with silver accents on a walnut base.
Bowie opened the Sculpture Studio in New York in 1972. It was from there he created works for the best design shops of the day as well as several large business commissions including an 88 foot impression of the New York City skyline for New York Bank For Savings. His sculptures are in many private collections and Museums throughout the U.S. and the World.
