Item Description
"A gift from God" is how Benjamin Victor describes his ability to create spectacular works of figurative sculpture. At age 26, he became the youngest artiest ever to have a sculpture in our Nationals foremost collection of figurative sculpture, Sanctuary Hall in the United States Capitol building. Art critics and organziations, including the National Sculpture Society in New York City, continue to recognize the aesthetic and conceptual integrity of Benjamin's work. His passion and drive continue to shine through in each of his unique and profound creations. With expressive features, exquisite detail, and thought-provoking content, the work of Benjamin Victor is sure to take its place among the great masterpieces of art history.
While the majority of Benjamin's pieces are commissioned works, gracing public spaces across the globe, Rug & Relic is delighted to offer a unique collection of original works which reflect Ben's personal aesthetic. This piece, and her companion piece ("Samson", priced separately) are two of Ben's earliest works, and demonstrate his gift with movement and expression.
Please note: sizing on this piece includes the 12" high marble stand that she is affixed to; thus, Delilah is 5'1, not 6'1!
