Item Description
The form of this vase is based on an archaic jade cong object with a circular center and rectangular sides. It is slab built and decorated overall with a cream glaze and impressed foliate and eight Daoist trigrams (Ba Gua) in relief. The corners have applied pierced scalloped edges. They have been fitted for table lamps with camphorwood bases also with Ba Gua symbols. Note: rewired.
