USA, 1950s
All original stone white ceramic lamp with walnut insets and finial designed by Gordon Martz for Marshall Studios of Leedersburg, Indiana. Bright glossy red, original, very large shade. This lamp has a very grand scale, measuring 46 inches in overall height with shade. The socket is 3 way. Excellent working condition. Signed Martz in the glaze at back of lamp near cord, also marked with Marshall Studios tag at base. No chips and in excellent condition. Shade has a couple of marks at the very top left side/back as pictured. The shade is just excellent, the perfect red, bright and glossy.
