1930s Art Deco Skyscraper Lavender Wall Sconces with Custard Shades for sale
Item ID: 374327
Item Description
After the Empire State Building was completed in 1931 as the tallest building in the world, the art deco movement stood up and took notice, incorporating a "skyscraper" design element in items of the day, including lighting fixtures. The lavender back plates on these vintage fixtures make a stunning background to the warm glow of the custard glass shades.
Both the porcelain backs and the glass shades are in excellent condition with no noticeable chips or cracks.
I may not be a big lavender fan but these are terrific!
