Bellova was a line of glass shades and globes produced in Czechoslovakian in the 1920s and 1930s for the US company H.G. McFaddin & Co., more well known for the "Emerlite" line of fixtures and table lamps. This is one of their larger vintage ceiling shades at 13 inches across. This antique fixture shade is in excellent condition with no noticeable chips or cracks. Shown mounted on an earlier chain hung fitter c.1909. This fitter was chosen because of its larger than usual chain size; the ceiling canopy is also a larger size and shaped to match the shade.
Wonderful bright colors in the flowers and leaves while a subtle mosaic background of tan flowers add to the depth of the design.
Drop as shown is 31 1/2 inches which can be adjusted.
Shown in the last image with a pair of matching smaller ceiling globe lamps also from the same era. These vintage shades are shown on new fitters and are 12 1/2 inches long and 7 inches wide.
