Item Description
Included here is a five-piece sterling silver grooming set by Jean Puiforcat (1887-1945) for Cartier, including two shoe/clothes brushes, mirror, shoe horn, and round brush, plus original blue felt sleeves and gift box. Entire set weighs 37.8 oz (1070 g). Condition is very good. There are only very light scratches, and the set does not appear to have been used very much over the years. The set has been well cared for and polished over the years, as evidenced by the wear to the silver hallmarks. Bristles are all clean, and those on the round brush are bent gently to one side. Box measures 12 x 9 inches. The mirror (the largest item in the set) measures 8.5 in long and 5.5 in across.
