A wonderful example of a primitive artist's easel. The easel's construction is based on the traditional tripod system. There are 3 holes in which the 2 original pegs can be adjusted, depending on the size of your canvas or artwork. The beauty in this easel lays in the rough hewn "feel" with the simple structure, original black paint and colorful paint drops from the past. It is really beautiful and would fit great in an Americana, cottage or shabby chic inspired interior, as well as, a great juxtaposition to a sleek, modern interior.

When the back leg is folded inwards, the easel is 66 inches tall. It is in good condition; one peg holder is missing an upper porition and the pegs have string wrapped around them so that they fit properly into the holes.
