Potter Mitts on Stand for sale
Item ID: 396686
Item Description
Two antique left-handed leather mittens that were found in the wine cellar of a 14th century windmill in France. These are thought to be French working mittens that were used to turn the wheel on the beetroot chopping machines. Thus, the dominant right hand was free to feed beets into it. For ease of display, they've been mounted on a black-painted steel frame.
A sweet piece of French countryside living to add ambience to your French Country Kitchen
