Antique Chinese Red and Black lacquer Comfort box. Comfort boxes are used to store items of personal use such jewlery, self grooming items, and also medicine or the likes. This particular comfort box has four small drawers, two outside and two inside with a shelf. A lustful patina of red and black lacquer that speaks of time gone by but appears as modern as today measuring 11.5 wide x 9.5 deep x 13 tall . A wonderful addtion to a collection or as accessroy.
