Carved signature (back): Wik T.(?) Nilsson. The case of this clock was hand carved with incredible imagination. It features maritime mythological figures of a mermaid and a troll on the crest and dolphins on the base. It adds a bit of whimsy to a shelf or mantel. Dated 1954.
