A wonderful example of mid-century modern pottery from the Swiss, Luzerner Studio pottery atelier. The atelier was known for innovative glaze techniques and the quality of the craftsmanship. This bowl has a dramatic flared shape and has a surrealism inspired decor of a village with brilliant blue glaze accents. The bowl is 12.5 inches in diameter. There is crazing.
