E. Norton & Co. (Bennington, VT, 1793-1884)
With impressed maker's mark and size (side). This New England straight sided stoneware crock has a thick rim, with the front encircled by incised bands and decorated with a large cobalt dotted leaf. The crock has applied lug handles and a dark brown interior. 1883-84
