Item Description
A vintage 1950s Swiss design metal wall cabinet. The cabinet has an angular, trapezoid profile and is perfect for use as a small case storage unit in the bathroom, kithchen or perhaps, as unique cabinet in the bedroom in lieu of a night stand. It measures 15.5 x 23.6 x 9.25 inches. There is a little patint to original black & white paint, otherwise, it is in good condition. There are two shelves on either side.
The cabinet was produced by the MEWA atelier of Wädenswil Switzerland. The company was known for its innovative use of aluminium and light metals to produce designs by some of Switzerland's most profound industrial designers, including Wilhelm Kienzle & Hans Coray's "Landi" chair.
