Mid-century French schoolroom chart framed. Anatomical illustration of: The Stem. Chalkboard paper mounted on linen on roller. Edited by the well-known anatomist Dr. Auzoux with illustrations by P. Sougy. This chart is one of an anatomical/botanical series of educational charts published in Paris from the late 40s to the 70s. This series of science lessons was part of the "Lesson-of-the-day" throughout French classrooms. One in a rare collection of nine different subjects available.
Framed professionally in shadow box without glass so there is no glare and the fine detail can be appreciated up close.
