An early 19th century Italian, ink drawing (8 x 5.75 inches) by Eugenio Bipa (Venezia). The title of the work is “Pescatori di Chioggia" and it is dated 1838. The drawing is mounted on a separate sheet.
This old master influenced drawing depicts a family in Chioggia, a coastal town in the province of Venice, Italy. A hooded fisherman shares a tender moment with his wife and young child, perhaps before bidding adieu.
