Item ID: 379402
This colorful, framed original cubist oil painting by American artist Nicholas Takis (1903-1964) is a study in orange and reds. These two lovely wide-eyed, long-necked girls (indicative of his familiar style) are upbeat and happy while surrounded by musical instruments and flowers! A mid-century delight by a noted collectible American artist!
Nicholas Takis began studies at Art Student's League in 1919; additionally he took classes at New York School of Fine & Applied Art; and New York Evening School of Industrial Art.
