Born in Ireland and transplanted to New York City as a youth, Edward Dowdall studied at the famed Cooper Union School. He exhibited in London and Paris, as well as the United States and won many awards. Similar in feel, to Robert Henri, the Girl in the Red Hat is a wonderful example of his work, capturing the attitude and essence of this lovely lass. Presented in a handcarved frame this portrait would be a wonderful addition to your collection. Size includes frame.
