Item Description
This old Italian pietra dura ( pietre dure ) stone mosaic plaque depicts the full-length portrait of an Italian gentleman of the Renaissance. Measures 10.2 by 5.5 by .4 in (25.9 by 14 by 1 cm). Condition is very good, with no losses and only light scratches and scuffs. It is unsigned and believed to date from the 19th or early 20th century. Metal stand is not included.
