Utilizing his masterful command of the media’s technique and his creative approach to the opportunities in the media, he set new standards for artistic expression in linocut. Curiously,AKHUNOV claimed to have made the last Lenin poster to be published ofcially, in 1989.
These large format "linocuts' are spectacular in subject, geometry & execution. all from the 1960's/1970's. Each piece is matted in a white, 4" acid/free matte.
