Marked (upper left): No. 24. Signed: Caroline Naui(?) Aquaforte 1837. Titled: Armure Allemande du 16e Siècle (German Armour of the 16th century). Displaying a knight in a full set of armour wearing an elaborate plume helmet, posing with a sword and spear. To the right are two sword examples. Aquaforte is a method of engraving that resembles watercolor. We have several bookplates from this series.
