This table lamp is made of a vintage wallpaper printing roller, circa early 1900s. At that time, wallpaper was all the rage, available in myriad designs for every room in the house. Factories sprung up to meet the demand, printing rolls of wallpaper with wooden rollers locked onto industrial-size presses. Each roller brought its own color and pattern to the final product. An industrial tool with refined sense of room design.
This roller lamp is mounted on painted maple base. It features black rayon cord, antiqued brass fittings, 3-way bulb and drum shade in black with gold interior.
