What We Are

VandM.com (formerly Vintage and Modern, Inc) is an online marketplace representing dealers of antique furniture, vintage furniture, contemporary furniture, lighting, textiles, home accessories, and art from around the world, marketed directly to the design trade and savvy collecting public.

We work to connect buyers looking for unique and one-of-a-kind items directly with dealers that have those items.

Buyers benefit by being able to contact dealers directly, avoiding a middle man, commissions, or additional markups.

VandM dealers benefit by being able to reach buyers from around the world, in quantities much larger than what a traditional brick and mortar store can offer.  

Why We Were Created

VandM was created in June 2006 in response to demands from the antique/vintage and contemporary furniture market for an online outlet that helps connect buyers and sellers from around the world. 

Who We Are

The founders of VandM are Chris Sansbury and Bill Indursky.  Chris previously worked for another antique listing service in sales and Bill was an entrepreneur in interactive development for the last nine years. 

 

Our Mission

The center of our world is in making connections and to get as many direct sales as possible for our customers by providing the trade with a constantly growing resource.

The company's founding principals are democracy, accessibility, and transparency.  

Our Services

VandM offers several plans to suit the needs of dealers.  Plan differences are usually predicated on two factors: if photography and image preparations services are needed and the amount of new items per month.
