Pair of late 18th c. or early 19th c. wooden architectural fragments in the form of birds. Possibly originally from a piece of furniture or a trade sign. Hand carved with a highly desirable worn patina and remnants of original paint and finish. Mounted on custom made steel museum mounts.Size given includes mount. Carvings are approximately 10" X 14".
