Chairs are for Knoll by Breuers 1920's designs but the date of execution is unknown - They are of the older generation because the chrome is of the highest quality and the front edge profile of the seat has a sharp backward rake ; something that Breuer demanded in manufacture because he didn't want a bulk of material touching the back of the knee. They are of the finest Bauhuas design and the cane has been replaced in the not too distant past. The seat height is 18 inches.
