Pair of Antique Greco-roman Blue Porcelain Table Lamps

Included here is a pair of antique blue porcelain table lamps of urn form and featuring enamel painted decoration depicting Roman chariot racers and male portraits, and gilded handles with swan motif and gilded bases. They sit upon turned wooden pedestals drilled for wiring. Sockets are old but appear useable and both lamps require new wiring which we will be happy to do for a modest fee. They each measure 26" tall. There is some wear to the gilding but no signs of restoration or repair, and no visible cracks or chips. These items reside on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York city and may be seen by appointment.
