This is a pair of side tables designed by Sun Coast and manufactured by Drexel Heritage in 1959.
The tables we believe were designed by Kipp Stewart in collaboration with Sun Coast.
These table are really different from other Drexel pieces, the table have a brass square base and a waving top.
The weaving is in the original condition and there are no damages to it except one of the tables is missing a brass nail but other than that everything is in very good condition.
The tables are light and yet very sturdy, they can go side by side and make a coffee table or use them as side tables next to a sofa or next to a lounge or club chair.

Drexel History:
Based in the foothills of North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains, Drexel Heritage Furnishings Inc. has been producing furniture for almost a century. A subsidiary since 1986 of Masco Corp., the world's largest furniture manufacturer, Drexel Heritage is also a retailer of home furnishing accessories.
The Drexel Furniture Co. was founded in 1903 in Drexel, about five miles east of Morganton, North Carolina. At the time this community consisted of little more than a railroad siding built to accommodate a sawmill and flour mill. Both enterprises were operated by Samuel Huffman, who with five Morganton businessmen founded the company.
