First of all the top is adjustable in height from 26 to 36 inches by way of the worm screw mechanism and built in lock with virtually no vibration. The bolts that secure the top to base have been replaced and there are two 3/8 inch holes in top used I suppose to hold a jig when this was a machinest table. The top shows the wear of men hard at work and has been scrubbed and bleached as a disenfectent with a top dressing of zero sheen varnish to insure a safe, durable finish for years to come.
