Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin 1970s Floating Club Chair

Fantastic floating chair in a chrome base designed by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin.
The chair has great architectural lines and is very large in size, the tufted back and sides hugs the body in such a way that is so comfortable.
The chrome base attached to the body of the chair gives the illusion that the chair is floating which is just genius and shows just what kind of designer Baughman was.
The chair is upholstered in its original orange velvet fabric and is in need of upholstering or at the very least a steam cleaning.
(We can assist to reupholstering, buyer can provide their own fabric or we can assist with the process as well) extra charges will apply for labor.
The chrome on the base is very clean and is free of pitting.
The chair is in excellent condition for its age and just needs a good loving home to really shine.
