Lao Antique Textile

Antique Lao Textile.  This tribal textile from Laos dates 1900s - 1910s.  This piece is very simple in its color Indigo, and the patern is true Hmong.  From the Hmong Tribes also known as Meo or Maew.  This type of textile was used mostly for siting on and sleeping with.  This particular piece was collected in nothern Laos.   The condition is very good with the cotton boarder having a rich coloring of time.   This is a very real piece of tribal art  that is museum worthy.  Great collection piece.   Would look wonderful framed appropriately.
