The table is adjustable in height from 25 to 34 inches. The base is steel and has a lower built- in fixed shelf of a two piece laminate. ( the original was lost )  The top is Rock Hard Maple Butcherblock with a finish of tung oil and is 1.50 inches thick. 

It is an old military supply packing table and adjusts in height by way of unbolting the legs and repositioning them either higher or lower , see photo. The feet have new glides. I do not think the top is original but it works well.
