This Biedermeier curved back slipper chair is a comfortable and style-forward addition to an interesting space.  It can easily be the conversation piece or focal point of the room.  In fact, I would place it in a simple, minimalist, neutral room to add a dramatic splash of color and interest.  The frame has a natural  wood tone with a few worm holes which add character.  The color of the wood contrasts nicely with the crazy fabric.  The frame is in its original excellent condition retaining its original color and patina.  Originally a Biedermeier chair, it was upcycled to make it relevant in the 21^st century with a funky pink hairy fabric.  Truly the only one of its kind – everyone will notice it.  This piece is part of our Upcycle Collection and signed by artist Lisette Ruch.
