Japanese Edo period  (1603 - 1868) Bronze Monk with some remaining origianl pigments.   Beuatiful Bronze casting of Monk devotee.  Very good collection piece.  As you look through the pictures you will notice on the right side of the statue that the back of the shoulder and the head have ware through the gilt to the Bronze.
