This ladies fruitwood writing desk in the Louis Xv style dates from the nineteenth century and features beautiful floral marquetry inlay on front, top and sides, and dore bronze sabots and mounts along the cabriole legs. It measures 34.75" tall, 30.75" wide and 21" deep. The size of the desk surface area measures 25.5" by 22.5". Craftsmanship is very high. The drawers have hand-cut dovetails and string inlay.
