Antique French Wallpaper Printing Roller as Lamp #5

Stunning French antique wallpaper print roller as table lamp in a limited edition of six (see variations on this site). These rollers would fit onto large presses to print wallpaper patterns directly onto paper. Each has a unique design of brass filligree, old forest wood core (maple or mahogany), original ink elements, and ocassional traces of hand-penciled etchings by the craftsmen who made them. The 8" square lamp base is solid maple, hand-turned by a woodworking artisan and finished in period colors. Lampshade of flat-black paper with gold interior casts a distinctive glow and is included with purchase.
